We differ from other businesses in three key ways:

• The purpose for our organization is to provide stable and meaningful work for our members;
• Each member has an equal say in decision-making;  and
• Surplus (i.e. profit) is invested into improving the well-being of communities.

SSG is an active member of the Canadian Worker Co-operative Federation. SSG Director Yuill Herbert represents CWCF on the Canadian Co-operative Association's Board.
