Description

SSG provided background analysis for the development of a Community University Research Analysis  proposal. SSG worked with researchers at Royal Roads University and the University of British Columbia as well as the BC Government to analyze the data to ensure the relevancy of the analysis.

• Analyze the GHG emissions data for municipalities

Innovations and Achievements

This is the first time ever that comprehensive data is available for all of the municipalities in a jurisdiction. SSG analyzed this data to identify correlations with other socio-economic and built environment characteristics. SSG used an open source analysis tool developed by IBM called Many Eyes to evaluate and configure the data.
