Petite Rivière is a major community development on a sixty-five acre site in Montreal. The project aims to transform an existing golf course into a high performance, sustainable community. The project is being designed to achieve the 10 one planet goals and become an official One Planet Community. SSG was sub-contracted by BioRegional North America to help facilitate this process.

SSG worked with Bioregional to facilitate the initial Meadowbrook design Charette and develop the Meadowbrook Sustainability Action Plan. The Action Plan takes into consideration the unique Montreal context and highlights the opportunities and challenges to achieving the 10 OPL best practice design objectives. It includes crucial research, interpretation, sustainability expertise and development recommendations. The developer has used the plan to guide the pre-design phase of the project.
