The Vento is a three-storey mixed use development including retail space, 22 two-storey residential suites and two affordable housing units on the ground floor. The project redevelops a surface parking lot and is now one of the most sustainable mixed-use developments in North America.

• The first project in Alberta to be approved to collect, treat, and reuse stormwater for irrigation and toilet flushing.

• Achieved the rapidly renewable materials credit through use of wheatboard, wool carpet, bamboo flooring, and other innovative materials.
